Earlier this week, American Express announced that it has launched new program that allows cardholders to access exclusive deals by simply using Twitter hashtags (text with a ‘#’ before it). It’s the first time I’ve heard of a credit card issuer doing something so social media-savvy. Why didn’t anyone think of this earlier?
