Hurry, step right up! The Carnival of Personal Finance is coming to town!

Mark your calendars: On Monday, Sept. 21, Taking Charge is proud to be hosting 223rd edition of the granddaddy of all personal finance blog carnivals, the straightforwardly named Carnival of Personal Finance.

Straightforward, that is, if you are familiar with blog carnivals. If you're not, blog carnivals are basically a collection of links to various blogs united by a central topic (in this case, personal finance), with each edition of the carnival hosted at a different site. We've had a lot of fun hosting previous carnivals, and look forward to this one, too, and to carrying on its tradition of four-plus years in passing along great personal finance advice.

We'd love to see what you're writing on the topic, so please submit your blog posts using this submission form.

As for the rules, all entries must be submitted by 6 p.m. EST on Sunday, Sept. 20, with submissions in advance of that deadline greatly appreciated. The blog post you submit must be original content, no more than two weeks old and should reflect your point of view or opinion. Although we will consider every submission and try to include as many as possible in the carnival, please be aware that only one submission per blog is allowed.
